There is plenty going on in Preston, as the ‘Preston Model’ gathers pace. Larder will hold its conference on ‘Food and the Preston Model’ at the Town Hall on Oct 25th, whilst Stir Magazine launches its ‘Co-operatives for an Age of Crisis’ at UCLan on Nov 14.
1) Food and the Preston Model
The LARDER co-operative (Lancashire and Region Dietary Education Resource) will hold a conference on ‘Food and the Preston Model’ on October 25th. The conference is sponsored by Co‑operatives UK and Preston City Council.
LARDER says the “conference will bring together 50 of the UK’s leading thinkers and practitioners in food and cooperative working”. Full programme to be announced soon.
